hi, my name is amy fields!

Also known as, Fields to Table. Nothing makes me happier than cooking in the kitchen, creating delicious dishes, and savoring them at an inviting table. I graduated from Culinary School at Johnson & Wales University in 2015 with my Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts & Food Service Management. From there came a variety of career opporunities that took me all over the world: catering management, 5-star steak-houses, the Masters Golf Tournament, the 2016 and 2018 Olympic Games, culinary development for Chobani Greek Yogurt, PGA Tour Events, and so much more.

I’ve always been a foodie as long as I can remember. My mom and grandma both set the bar very high for the dishes they put on the table every night when I was growing up. My recipe box is bursting at the seams with all of the family favorites: chicken divan, spinach balls (a Thanksgiving tradition), chocolate drop cookies, kolaches, my Nana’s barbeque beef, tomato pie, etc. All of them hold a special place in my heart, but as I got older and developed my own niche of cooking, I started to understand just how passionate I was about local and seasonal ingredients. Enjoying a perfectly ripe summer tomato, a peach in peak season, or tender butter lettuces that are at their most delicious in June and July -  cooking with food at their prime will result in the most flavorful and best tasting experience.

After traveling around for the better part of my 20’s in Charlotte, Charleston, and Chicago, I decided to put my roots down in Cincinnati, OH where I was born and raised. Ever since graduating, a life-long dream of mine has been to open up my own business, where I cook what I love, highlight seasonal ingredients, and bring people together through food. Fields to Table offers take-home meals, frozen dinners, desserts, handmade breads and more. The produce is grown locally (by me!) in Mariemont, OH and each dish is lovingly crafted. I hope to bring a smile to your face through the food I serve. Thank you for being here and being a part of my journey!

One of the very nicest things about life is the way we must regularly stop whatever it is we are doing and devote our attention to eating.
